I know most, if not all of you have heard of Stormpulse for their nice graphical display of tropical maps and tracking, but they just had an upgrade.  They now offer "severe" tracking maps too.  I just embedded one in my site if you wish to take a look.

You can center it on the U.S., state, or local county.  I don't think it's available for areas outside the U.S. though.  If you'd like one, you do need to apply for a "key" to use on your website.

They do have some nice products .. I am using their Atlantic Basin view for my Tropical Page. Normally my area sees very little from the tropical systems but on occasion we have gotten some heavy rain and there was Hugo

Yea, I stuck their Atlantic imagery on my tropical page too.  I didn't want to be one of those sites with 4,000 tropical images lined up one after the other.  Mostly everyone down here has their own specific place to get their info.  But then, what kind of site would I be living in Louisiana and NOT have a tropical page?  I may add a few more things to it...possibly CIMSS imagery or something, but not go overboard.

Yea...sorry about that.  Since that post, I switched over to a PHP/AJAX site.  It's on this page now:
