Please list your nominations in this thread - it certainly can't hurt for you to describe why you think your nomination is deserving of this honor.

Don't forget that it is perfectly OK to nominate someone who has been nominated in the past but was not selected! We've had some very deserving nominees, and close runoffs!

Some criteria to consider when making nominations:

The visual attractiveness of the site
Ease of navigation
Quality and quantity of useful or interesting information
Educational value
Distinctiveness

While not a hard and fast rule, sites that only use the unmodified default web page template that comes with the software, while absolutely useful and functional, may not cross into that next level to warrant featuring in this manner. Please try to address these areas while nominating a site.

We'll run the nominations through Monday, April 14, 2014, then start a new thread for polling on Tuesday, April 15, 2014. The polling will run through Tuesday, April 22, 2014.

I nominate Tony from www.CNYWeather.com . His site has plenty of information, well constructed and provides the people of Central New York with accurate weather data. Oh and a new weather station is on the way for him.  :-)

I'll nominate my favorite site from Norway with a very clean look, easy to navigate and great web camera. I'm partial to good web cameras and it even has sound for the camera loop. Very professionally done if you ask me. Possibly this person  writes his own code because it doesn't appear to be templates I'm familiar with. Only weakness if you call it that, the site doesn't provide much additional information other than weather and camera. I think that's a plus actually for a very clean looking site.
FreeMan who isn't very active with only 6 post linked his site here, It may be the language barrier.  http://mellos.no/index.php?lang=en

I'd like to nominate weerstation wilsele (http://www.weerstation-wilsele.be/) in Leuven, Netherlands.  This is the personal website for Wim Van der kuil, the developer of the Leuven template set (http://www.weerstation-leuven.be/_template2/template.php?lang=en).

I think Wim has done a wonderful job of creating a fresh look/feel for personal weather websites, and for expertly packaging a lot of support scripts into a very functional website design that supports multiple weather station software packages.

I nominate http://www.k3jae.com/wxindex.php.  This site is quite colorful, yet a tastefully implemented, fairly original looking design.  Its ample side menu has much to offer.  One of its entries is entitled weather info, which seeks to educate on weather terminology.  Not many PWSs go to that extra mile.

I would like to nominate W3DRM at http://www.carsonvalleyweather.com/.
It is a very attractive site with all the information needed in order to stay on top of the weather and much more in the Carson Valley area. It combines a nice mix of scripts and html generated images, on top of the Virtual Weather Station live conditions dashboard. Plus, there is an 'alternate' website with the same data as well (linked from the page url listed above)!
    Nice job!  =D>
