« on: September 09, 2011, 04:25:56 PM »

This was shot in the river bottom from where I was standing. Thougth it looked good shooting throught the brush. Aspen trees are just about all yellow now Birch are bare in some areas.

I definitely have noticed some hints of fall coming.  We farm in the Mississippi River bottoms of Western Illinois so there are these huge tree covered bluffs on both sides of the flood plain and you can just tell that some of the trees are losing their green.  Going to be a beautiful site in a few weeks.

Great pic, thanks for sharing.

A nice thoughtful picture.  Nothing quite like the yellow aspens/quakies fluttering in the wind while the elk are whistling.  Makes me homesick for Idaho.

Nice picture! Not any aspens around here, but it looks like a pretty tree...Only a couple red oaks left here, everything else is long and gone.
