ANY camera that can post to a URL will work. I am using a couple different ones. Stardot, D-Link and some USB ones that I manually FTP up images. The Ubiquiti is just Boris' favorite I guesss.
1. The Ubiquiti is addressed by Meteobridge itself and Meteobridge will fetch the jpg for you.
2. Other webcams which have a http address to grab a jpg can be used by entering the snapshot link such as
http://192.68.0.xx/cgi-bin/snapshot.cgi?loginuse=abc&loginpas=defghijThese links are different for every camera make, most webcams have such a link but not all.
3. All camera's which can upload a jpg
with a static name can be used also. You have to enter the local or remote address of that image http:192.168.0.xxx/image.jpg
Sorry to say, but is seems that more and more webcams only allow ftp uploads with a time stamp in the name, such as imageYYYYMMDDhhmmss.jpg
Those uploads can not be processed by Meteobridge.
