Here, March is living up to its reputation as a very windy month. This afternoon, my anemometer recorded it's highest gust for 2017. It's 41 mph.

It's 41 mph.Yep, same here...got 40mph this afternoon. I'm also waiting on a new anemometer; my first sensor replacement since I purchased the VP2 in May of 2013. I can't find any breaks in the cable but the direction is stuck at north. Wind speed works fine. Taking a multimeter across the red/green wires gave me 0 ohms so I guess there's a short somewhere in the length of the cable.Attached is the squall line headed for us. Looks like you barely missed out Bunty. My weather radio has been going nuts for an hour now.
Looks like our (arid-zona) SPRING done SPRUNG the scene, as we're headed for almost 90ºF (already) when the "normal" high is only 71ºF!
No shoveling involved with 90° days
Measured 8 tenths inch Valentine today. This is the 3rd dusting of snow in as many days. Its been below normal first 14 days of March.
