Hi,

I would like to know , what is the use of this wire?

Davis Instruments Davis USB Power Cord f/Vantage Vue, Vantage Pro2 & Weather Envoy

Is it possible to use this one to power bank to vantage v2?

If it is the USB/DC cable then it can provide power to any Davis device requiring 5 volts powered from a USB port

Not sure what you mean by "power bank to vantage v2"?

Suspect he's talking about part 6627 which is in the 2018 price list - I didn't recall noticing this before but it's not marked as new. It is what it says on the tin AFAICS, ie a 5v supply cable for console etc but with a (full-size I think) USB connector on the other end for connecting to eg a smartphone charger.

Incidentally, there's also 6670 as a new part which is a pole-mounting bracket for a single solar/UV sensor.

Yes.. part 6627..

Instead of using adaptor. Ca I use my Power Bank (smartphone battery) to power my Davis Vantage Pro 2 console everytime theres no eletricity power..?
