Radio shack has on that you can disable just about any watch and advisory's you can not disable warnings

In addition to the one mentioned above, I think all the Radio Shack models with S.A.M.E. also have selectable alerts. I know at least three of them do.
Personally I like the Reecom because of the way the programming menu is set up and the alert history memory. (The government gave one to the school I work at)
A couple of other differences between the Reecom & Radio Shack models:
The "missed alert" feature works differently - On the Reecom, when an alert first appears the LED blinks until you acknowledge the alert (press RADIO, then STOP) at which time it will become steady - if another alert is received it will start blinking again - so if you see it blinking, you know you missed an alert while you were too far away to hear the siren. On the Radio Shack models you can activate the missed alert function and the radio will beep every few seconds until you acknowledge the alert (press WEATHER twice), this is nice if you come inside an hear the beeping, then you know to check further, however it can get annoying at night if you have to keep getting up to acknowledge each alert, so it will shut up. (I used it for awhile, but have since deactivated this feature on my Radio Shack + it about caused the dog to have a nervous breakdown)
The alarm out terminals also function differently - On the Reecom, the terminal is live while the siren is sounding. On the Radio Shack, the terminal is live for the duration of the alert. Each method has it's uses.
