5 in 1 barometric pressure questions
« on: January 20, 2018, 07:04:21 PM »
I am a somewhat newbie with the 5 in 1 unit. My problem is the barometric pressure.

Local airport: 29.82 - has been steady for 5 hours
Display: 29.64
MyAcuRite: 29.86
WUnderground: 29.87

As you can see the display is way off. How do I fix it?
I also read something about the barometric pressure having a "14 learning period" should I do something now or later?

Let the display adjust for the 14 day learning period.  By then it should be close to a sea-level adjusted pressure.

It will continue to adjust for another couple of weeks after that.

Depending on the model you have, you can also make a manual adjustment.  However, it's best to wait until the learning period is complete, otherwise you'll just be chasing your tail.

Remember the learning period only affects what is shown on the display.  It won't be transmitted anywhere, even if your display has a USB port.

Also, one of my locations is just south of you near Peru, but recently I've been spending most of my time in Texas.

Do you know anything about adding a camera to WUnderground?
Good idea, bad idea, any suggetions on how to do it?

Wunderground has been having a terrible time with cameras of late, but in the last week they seem to be trying to get things back in order.  None of mine are back in working order yet.

This was posted a few hours ago in the wunderground users facebook forum:

Thank you.
I will follow the threads and when the system appears to be working I will ask questions then.

Thank you
