Hi Guys,
My current station, WMR200, is failing and I'm in the market for an upgrade.
There is a local event very close to me that runs an airport for a week a year and they want a station too. They are willing to subsidize the new hardware if i meet their criteria.
I have the following request from them:
"if we can get the following stuff, wind Kn/ local pressure/QNH in nBar/ temp/ dew point/history/tendency / rain plus
what else the system can or could achieve."
I have been using weather-display for years and do not wish to loose the data. I am also not a fundy in all things weather.
Would a VP2 do? It is in the middle of the desert.
All suggestions appreciated.

Yes, and it will do all of it very well. Get at least the daytime FARS, if not the 24hr., which I highly recommend.

Oh, BTW, if you want the altimeter setting you'll need a Vue console as the VP2 console does not, but it'll do the rest.
