Advice needed
« on: September 28, 2012, 12:39:34 PM »
Hello all weather enthusiasts.

I want to buy a wireless weather station there can send separately from the temperature unit and the anemometer unit. Do they come with data logger, or is it separately..?
I'm going to put the data in my webpage, along with webcam streaming. Which webcam is good for outdoor use..( on a balcony with no direct rain)
Last but not least, which webpage designer program is good..? Joomla..?

As You can see, I have a lot of work to do  #-o and have absolutely no clue how to do it....

Thanks for every input

Torben

Hi Torben,

I would go for a Davis Vantage Vue, Pro, Pro 2, Pro 2 plus. Anyone of those weather stations will do you good. If you buy it of davis.net you can include a data logger with it or separately.

Webcams...Not to good with but I'd go for a IP Camera witch is OUTDOOR. This means it can sustain all weathers.

Use AJAX/PHP Website by Ken "saratogawx" on wxforum.net and his site offers a great template.

The Davis Vue won't do what you asked (separate anemometer from other parts).

Logger is a separate item.

There's a forum here for web cams - probably better answers there for that question.
