Good job.  But that is going to be a PITA when it is time to change batteries!

Looks good, but I am getting dizzy just thinking about climbing that high. The good news is the batteries tend to last a couple of years.

Ya the batteries will be a pain but I wanted it to be as accurate as possible. Trying to find a good area for these all in ones is a compromise.

Leveling it I used a magnetic level that stuck to the pipe and then I would adjust the arm braces coming off the rafters until level. I wasn't about to try and eye ball that level on the 5 in 1. I know it probably not dead on but is close.

Looks good benny!  I'll be interested to see if the heat radiating off your roof has any influence on your daytime temperature.  Here's mine, and that's my main concern.  I do need to switch over to GSP though b/c the PVC has a little too much play in it.  I do plan on moving it away from the roof about another foot or so, and maybe another foot higher once switched to GSP.

Thanks! I will have to wait and see on the temps. I am hoping that because my roof is at least not black it will help. I tried to get it up as high and as far out and away as possible without it becoming to unstable. It seems pretty rigid so far. I have been checking the temps with others in my area and so far they all seem pretty close.

I am feeding to WU as KCARANCH126 if your interested.

Have a question, is that "L" pipe apparatus using PVC?

If so, I'd be concerned about the stability especially in strong winds. Last thing you'll want is to find it smashed on the ground on a windy day.

Just saying.

On mine, yes that is PVC. I will be changing it out to GSP in the coming days though...hopefully prior to Sunday when a squall line is forecast to move through

A cable corresponding to the hypotenuse of that triangle would increase the strength considerably.  A rigid structure would be even better.
