Topic: I need help with my Weather Station and Weather Underground

Not sure if this is the right group to post this question too, but I need help with my Weather Station and Weather Underground.
 
I have a WS 2308U weather station.  I am using Heavy Weather which is linked to Virtual Weather Station which is uploading to Weather Underground (Rapid Fire).  Well Weather Underground is recording the right daily rain fall, but it is not updating it within my table of rainfall or my graph (i.e. hourly rain fall).  Does anyone know why, and how I might fix it.

Your stations shows a tiny amount of rainfall on Wednesday and Thursday. No rain was reported Friday or Saturday.

Are you referring to the graph at Weather Underground or your graphs in VWS?

Yesterday, Friday, January 11, 2008 my weather station recorded a daily rainfall rate of 7.4 mm and for my Rainfall Rate (Hourly) recorded in the table under the daily table, no readings are shown (i.e. 0.0's all the way down).

Something is not right, and I need to fix it.

Sounds like a software bug.

If the correct data is sent to WU, it always displays the correct data from what I have seen over the years.

One exception is that the high/low stats are not correct if you delete specific data uploads (that the page allows you to do under your stations history).

What is confusing is it displays the correct total rainfall for the entire day.  But doesn't update the table, very confused.

Depending on what version of vws you are using. Later versions (13.01p9 for instance) does not require you to run Heavy Weather along with VWS. Running them together may cause problems.

I am running the latest version (13.01p9) and when I setup the program for the weather station, it told me to start Heavy Weather and does start Heavy Weather automatically.  I will look at not running it and see what that happens but I think it needs to be run.
