I am planning a post and write up about my weather station soon, but I'm not quite ready yet. I want to finish building the fence around the station and get a few of the sensors in their permanent spot and sorted out first. I am running a Davis VP2 and I have separated the temp/humidity and rain gauge from the ISS board. I have the anemometer mounted on top of a Rohn 33ft. tower. The temp/humidity sensors live inside the Stevenson screen. The rain gauge will soon be mounted on a 2ft. pedestal inside an Alter windshield. I am trying to adhere to NWS guidelines about sensor placement as close as is possible. I am using the Ubiquity Nanostation to communicate the half mile back to my house. The whole setup is solar powered with 12v batteries and so far has worked flawlessly.
