is there a way to edit a weather station in weather cloud.net?
« on: January 09, 2016, 08:51:05 AM »
I had to change the source of were I was getting my data at on weathercloud https://app.weathercloud.net/d0417555146#profile and I seen I could not change its source. I had to delete the station and setup a new one. Is there a way if I have to do this again to change its source from lets say weatherlink to something else?

I ran into this issue myself. I could not find a way to edit the information either. I added Weatherlink.com as another device, then deleted the original "device" fed by my old meteobridge.

If you login and go to https://app.weathercloud.net/device/ and then there is a settings button where you choose Edit Device, it is on the right side, I think that should be it.

I tried that "edit" button, but it only allows changes to the Name, Description and Location info. The Model and Link Type are "greyed out" and can't be modified.

That is the same problem I had. That is fine I just wanted to know if I was the only one that had the problem or not.

I re-added a "meteobridge" device and have both of them working now. There is no distinction available (or needed) for the PRO. My main problem was that I did not save the ID/Key combination for the "MB PRO". When I re-registered, the device number ID and Key appeared in a pop-up window. This time I saved them to a text file before I put them into the "weather networks" tab for meteobridge.
