I noticed that many of the wunderground webcams for most of Virginia and at least one in Georgia, went down around 9:11.

Has anyone else noticed this, or is it just me?

Both mine are dark, if it was just the left one I would say its me. (wireless acting up lately). Both images are timestamped 12 hours ago, so I would say there is an issue.

Mine to is down. I've first thought i was at my end, so i have been a bit frustrated during troubleshooting here

But good to hear it's not just me, so hopefully i haven't done something so it doesn't work when WU get this fixed (it got to be something at themthat causes this).

Why didn't i ask here before today

no it's past 4pm her and i have been trying to figure it out almost since this morning

Mine are kind of back. One is 32 minutes stale, the other is one hour. They both are set for 10 minute ftp.

Mine stopped updating last night about an hour earlier than when my camera shuts down for the night.

Working fine today though.

It didn't update last night for a long time. Then it started. Now my last update was 2:42 pm edt. Maybe they're working on it.

I just checked my cam image page and it does look like the updates are slower than normal. I send a new image to them every 2 minutes, but it is taking about 10 minutes in between updates at the moment.

All seems normal on this end, this morning. I am glad I did not have to send a support email yet.

The update interval on mine is still WAY SLOW. Last image update shown on their webcam page for me is over an hour old. As I said, I send them a new image every 2 minutes, so I have no idea what is going on with their updates.

Definitely not normal at the moment.

Mine still has not updated since 9:04AM. The image update on WU says 3 hours ago. My webcam software seems to be sending to them normally, so they are receiving new images, they are just not being supplied to the actual webcam page.

I went ahead and sent them a trouble ticket. You guys might want to do the same. The more trouble tickets they receive the more seriously they will take the reports.

Now mine seems that it's back to normal, time here is now 10.25am, hopefully it stay like this now

I have been off the forums for a few days, but mine seems to be back up to par, with current updates. I wonder if this issue was also related to my issues a week or two ago.

Well, now it's not updating again, 3 hours since right now mine has been updated, so it seems like WU still are having troubles with the cams

Yup, mine are both showing 4 hours ago. When I click on my city, there are normally 7 or 8 cameras that shows up, right now there is only one. It shows as 4 minutes on city page, but 4 hours once you click on it????

Mine (on my website, taken from WU) is showing 1:00PM and it's now 6:30PM. Going out of here is showing successful uploads to WU.

Hmm, 7 hours since last update here to now, seems like it occurred at the same time this.

I've sent WU a ticket now regarding this issue.

WOW! They are "REALLY" broken now!

My image has not been updated for over 15 hours!

I am sending to them fine. Not seeing any upload errors or such. Just seems that their webcam system is broken and is not processing new uploads.

Oh the woes of being a WU PWS!

Seems there is always something broken, breaking or about to break on the WU site!

weathercams are back up in NJ as of 1500 Eastern time. Looks like images have been restored during the time things were down too. I can access morning and noon time images from the archive. Well, being that WU works most of the time and it's free, I'm not complaining.
