Title: 5-in-1 Software/PC connectivity

I've got my outdoor station talking to my indoor station, and it's talking to Wunderground.com

Do I need any software on my PC then? Or do I need to connect my display to my PC?

How is it on wunderground if you have no software? Are you using the Access?

I assume you are reporting through an Access.  If so, there’s really no need to run software on the PC or hook up the PC Connect display.

There are certain situations where you might want to use the display connection, like if you want to run some software like weewx.

He could be using one of the new WiFi displays.

it's a wi-fi connection as I understand it
