Why does the map for North America show no Lightning in the last hour but the station list for Canada shows stations with 1 or two strikes recorded? Just curious.

Maybe because they are running high gains and are registering skywave bounces way out of the map's display range, as several other stations are presently doing... a fairly active area in areas east of the Caribbean islands in the Atlantic.

In other words the North America map only shows strokes within the 'frame' of the map and not the strokes recorded by the North America server?
