Davis 6382 vs 6372
« on: September 25, 2013, 07:44:25 PM »
I have acquired an extra Temp/Humidity sensor for the VP2.

I am wondering if the Temperature station will work with that sensor?    That is will the 6372  work with that or do I need to acquire a 6382 transmitter.

The temp/hum sensor WILL work in the 6372, as long as you don't exceed the t/h sensor limit in Weatherlink.
3 Davis set-ups...which one ya wanna talk about? And I got ALL my manuals....

I have a second Envoy, that is set to receive 2  Temp/Humid stations.  One is fine, the other is the one in question.  I am getting the right temperature but 100% humidity.  and that is the question,  are the transmitter boards identical.   I wrote Davis, but just wondered if someone   had tried  that with only that single sensor setup.

interesting then, that before I switched them around, it worked fine, but the humidity sensor goes screwy.   I am wondering if it is a wiring issue then, something loose or needs to settle out.
