Topic: Alt-Dashboard 6.95 Script not showing

Heres what I am doing, have tried for the last few days

Setup Saratoga Template using the current WD. All went well. Installed Alt-Dashboard 6.95 Script and no change to dashboard. I have checked numerous things and can't get alt dashboard to show up. Dashboard never changes. Site url is www.towandawx.com

I currently have WD not running due to weatherlink is running. Thats another story (tried vvp, but weatherlink kept locking up). But I still think the dashboard shouldve changed even when I had WD running. I plan on making the move to run WD 24/7 soon.

I guess I am asking will the old Scotts Alt-Dashboard 6.95 Script work correctly with the current Saratoga Script? If so, what am I doing wrong? Followed the install instructions.

Yes, the 6.95 alt dashboard will work with Weather-Display (ONLY) and the Saratoga templates.

To enable, you need to change Settings-weather.php from

$SITE['ajaxScript']     = 'ajaxWDwx.js'; // for AJAX enabled display
to

Code: [Select]

$SITE['ajaxScript']     = 'ajaxWDwx3.js'; // for AJAX enabled display
and change

Code: [Select]

$SITE['ajaxDashboard'] = './ajax-dashboard.php';
to

Code: [Select]

$SITE['ajaxDashboard'] = './ajax-dashboard6.php';
and make sure you've uploaded AltAjaxDashboardConfig6.php (and the other files in the 695 distribution) to your site.

Note that the alt-ajaxDashboard will ONLY work when Weather-Display is updating the site.. it will not work with the WeatherLink plugin (nor any other software plugin).

If you have a Davis system with a 'green dot' logger, VVP will not work .. it only works with the older VP1 systems, not the newer VP2 systems.

Thanks a bunch Ken, the code $SITE['ajaxDashboard'] = './ajax-dashboard6.php'; is what i was NOT doing. I knew it was something easy. Now to start up WD and try and get testtags right. Hopefully I won't have any questions on that, but you never know.
