Today multiple stations (not all) can retrieve their data again. They were shut off from  end May or mid June, but they all can get their data with the original .asp

Also, the file contents are slightly changed. The extra  linefeed at the start and all extra "<br>" are gone.

So, has anyone who has stopped reporting to WU since this reorganizing received a we miss you please come back message? I think not nor they ever will. I do not think that withholding data has any kind of leverage with them except an in-mass exodus. What of the odds of that happening?

I totally agree. The only way it's going to work is if someone organizes that mass exodus with viral social media. Untill then if I don't send WU my data I'm the only one missing out as some half working service is better than none. WU is the only service with live rapidfire data, so there is no alternative. Perhaps PWSweather and CWOP and such are sufficient for some people, but they don't serve everyone for all their needs.

If you report to any other service or site they can still scrape your data.  That's a fact of web life.  I think they figured out that they really don't need our cooperation.
