Topic: My Solar-In-A-Jar

I have built myself a solarsensor in a jar, just as a testproject. And it is working better than I expected.
This was really fun, I can see in the grafs when there has been a cloud in the way for the sun. Together with the UV-sensor this is really fun to monitor.
It took a wile to adjust it in WD, but now it works like a clock.
After I took the pictures I have drilled two more holes in the bottom, just to get a better airflow.
It may not look very good, but it works great.
It would be interesting to have a look at someone else picture of their solar setup.

I notice that Andy is using Weather Display software for his "Solar in a jar". Does anyone know if the same can be done using VWS, if so how?

Use the smart forecast with the jar and you can get the same results that Wd does. It is all done with temps. I been running a solar in jar with VWS for a year as it  is better then the UV800 for lower levels. It set up with about a temperature spread of 10 degrees per cloud cover change. With a dark color lid (black) this also will work at nigth as a cloud detector. Will get down to about 5 degrees lower then OAT
