Hardwire 5 in 1 weather station
« on: May 16, 2019, 09:29:13 AM »
I bought a used 5 in 1 weather station, and am trying to use it for a school project. I don't have the budget to get an access. I would like to hardwire the sensors to my raspberry pi to collect the data. Has anyone done this? Any advice on how to do it or where to start?
Thanks!

It would be a whole lot easier to buy a $20 USB dongle and run the free RTL_433 software on your raspi.  That will allow you to pull the 5n1 sensor data directly from the airwaves.

A bit complicated on the backend, but impressive results.  Follow this: https://www.hackster.io/andersot72/acurite-sensors-through-to-grafana-dashboard-7a1433
