low battery warning on Maplin N23DQ (WS1001) ?
« on: August 09, 2017, 09:03:58 AM »
Hi,
I am bit confused about the warning symbol in the centre of the display, I have changed out the internal battery by taking the console apart and then carefully re-assembling it but the symbol is still there.
Is this normal?
thanks

thanks, silly me.
By the way I have 4 display consoles (2 non working and 2 working) the internal battery CR1220 in each shows virtually no voltage but still retain the settings.
I have replaced the batteries with brand new 3 volt Duracell CR1220 and these read 3 volts.
Does the console battery really need replacing?
regards, Tim

thanks, changed out the aaa batteries in the indoor sensor and the low batt warning symbol has now gone.
All sorted.
