Temp/Humidity/Dew sensor with WiFi Internet uploading?
« on: March 11, 2017, 06:46:36 PM »
Is there a manufacture that offers just the above mentioned with WiFi capabilities? I see La Crosse has something like this, but only offers mobile alerts? I am looking for something to monitor outdoor temperature at my family cabin and upload to WU. I don't really need wind and rain as I am limited by trees and lack of good sun to charge a solar panel. WiFi is key as we would like to avoid leaving the desktop on while we're not there and power outages are more frequent than normal suburban living.

Thanks in advance.

Look at a Meteobridge device for the WiFi capabilities.  You  can use any weather station that  fits  your budget and gives you the data you want, and the Meteobridge  can send data to any weather network (including WU) plus email, sms messages and/or Twitter.

Very low power usage so a home ups will power it for days.
