I would like to wire up my Davis Pro wired Anenometer with my Ambient WS-1001. It should be doable. I would like to know if anyone here has done this? Does anyone have the schematic for the WS-1001?
It's the only thing I really dislike about the WS-1001. Its anenometer is too close to the unit & just a couple inches on snow interfers & stops it from working. I got this unit to replace my vantage pro going bad! I still have the Davis Anenometer working on my roof which is in a much better location than where I have the WS-1001. Due to the limitation of the 1001 Anenometer there's no way I wanted to mount it on my roof.
I miss my accurate wind direction & speed & the fact that snow doesn't stop it! So if ANYONE has done this, has the schematic for the WS-1001 or has any info on my questions, it would be really appreciated! TIA!
