The new Maxx Digital weather radios at Wal-Mart

The local Wally World has a large display of these NOAA/FM/AM alert radios. They only sell them in stores and there is virtually no information online about them save a series of how to program videos on YouTube.

Has anyone bit and gotten one?

I had one and took it back. When SAME was setup it wouldn't pick up the local alerts.

That's unfortunate, because the price point is excellent (or too good to be taken seriously).
