Fixing Rain Total data

Hi All,

I have a random question. I went to import my data into Meteotemplate recently, and noticed the old data from when I had a WS-2316 has rain totals that seem to be cumulative across multiple days (not resetting to zero at midnight each night), and then randomly reset back to zero at certain points (maybe I manually reset the station at those times, I don't recall). This is for all my readings between 2009/03 to 2013/10 (when I bought a David Vantage Vue and things are just "right").

I'm curious if anyone has any experience trying to fix rain totals like this? I'm trying to wrap my head around how to do it.
