New Weather Station Server For Northern Colorado
« on: May 09, 2015, 07:18:41 PM »
I just finished roughing out a new Weather Station Web Site. I am using a Windows 2008 Server with Apache Web Server. I am still using a demo version of Weather Display, and it is  fed by Kevin Key's Acu-Link Bridge Reader Software. I have implemented the Carter Lake HTML templates, and have integrated the SteelSeries JavaScript Gauges. Everything is working great. I will be registering, and donating to all of the great software vendors, and programmers this coming week. These are all wonderful products, and definately make it easy for a novice like myself to get up, and running. It's just a rough implementation, but it's nice to have things online. This is truly a work in progress. I have a lot to learn. I am using a Dynamic web address for now, but I am considering a domain. Thanks for looking, and I am open to any, and all suggestions.

Looks nicely done to me.  Welcome!

I see you're in a tornado watch.  Here we just have rain--just under .1" over the past 45 minutes.  Looks like a wet weekend in store.  Other than moving cattle or planting soybeans, I had no plans.  Now it's watch it rain time.   8-)

Thank you gentlemen! Yes, we did have a tornado watch today. We had a few rotating cells, but nothing to serious. NE Colorado is getting the brunt of this system. I am really enjoying my setup, and started to share the link with several of my neighbors. I do need to come up with links directly to official warning, and watch sites though. I think I will incorporate the links into the main, and advisory pages of my site. Thanks again for the comments!

Love the site! I am trying to create a site too and have it running but Kevins bridge reader is not working for me :(

Could you possibly try and help me to get it to work if you maybe had a problem and fixed it?

Thanks in advance!

Well, let's give it a go. Tell me about the system you are trying to run it on. Windows Version? Laptop... Desktop?

Nice website. Well done on setting it up.
Looks like it is starting to get a bit chilly at night there now.
