Accumulated rainfall on WU site
« on: October 04, 2018, 11:54:48 AM »
I built a new weather station based on a Raspberry PI.  It reports precipitation rate every five minutes to the WU PWS site.  Does WU calculate the accumulated rainfall, or does that need to be reported by my weather station?   If my station reports it, should it be accumulated over a day, month, or year?

Accumulation should be reported daily via the dailyrainin field

Also, if you want a precipitation rate graph, make sure you report "rainin" as well. (rain in the last 60 minutes)
