Add me to the list. I upload using FTP but it's not working. The log file says it was accepted but nothing shows up. It sure looks like a problem at WU.

I have 5 webcam accounts with them. 1,2,3,4,5

1,4.5 work. 2,3 nope. has to be a different server I am guessing that is FUBAR

Just checked mine, it is not showing up on the main page where the radar/Webcam tabs are located, however, when I select add camera and press my camera name, it is there and updating???

mine updated a couple of times and now is starting on the plodding count to 24 hours and poof

at 7:30 it's updating every few minutes now.

Emailed them Monday. No response at all. Pretty poor customer service imo.

My webcam is updating again. WUnderground support is nonexistent. They have not responded to my emails for a couple of years now. Things seem to get fixed but it takes days. The website undergoes changes so someone must be maintaining it. They just don't respond.

UPDATE!
I had a conversation with a WU employee this morning. He said that they lost the employee who had been responsible for responding to PWS questions and complaints. They are advertising the job now and hope to hire from within.
I hope that happens soon.

Once I had their attention, my WebCam problem was resolved immediately.

"A fix" for what? and No, I did not ask about any schedule.

I assume that some of the lost features were removed (or buried) as part of their overall design and "development" process.

... my fault: I forgot the title of THIS thread.

My WebCam is working (now). I asked him specifically about MY own feed.

BTW, I switched from ftp to url - that that wasn't why it wasn't working. I had been ftp'ing for years.

After switching (last week), my status was "awaiting review" for 10 days. Now it works. I guess I passed the "review."

I do not know about any schedules. Sorry.

I have been down the whole month of September. I wonder if it wouldn't be wise to start from scratch and delete the camera and as add a new camera..maybe that'll work?

I tried that with my FTP camera, and the availability got worse. Another longtime user in my area has never had his FTP cam go down. The conclusion I draw from this is that established cams/users have a better chance of operability than new. Could be something like the server is servicing a queue and starts over at a given elapsed time. If it hasn't serviced all cams by that time, it just starts over the queue and misses everything on the end, hence, established cams work, new ones don't.

At least that's my hare brained interpretation, probably wrong.

That's just about what I think. longtime users in my area are up way more than me, the issue may just be server capacity.

My bad! After some site research, apparently my webcam wasn't shown to be associated with my pws! I went to the camera edit area and at the bottom there was a drop down to associate with station...it's on my dashboard page now. Not sure how it got unchecked and unassociated before, I never touched it. All ok at the moment though.
