Title: Dr. George Fischbeck, Still alive, but "Been Under The Weather Most Of My Life"
Post by: SLOweather on May 07, 2013, 10:44:31 AM
Last weekend's cut off low off the California Central Coast reminded me of Dr. George's famous adage "A cut off low id a weatherman's woe."

Those of you that were around So Cal in the 70s and 80s probably remember LA's favorite TV weather man, on Channel 7's Eyewitness News with Jerry Dunphy and Christine Lund.

He's still around. I googled him and found this TV interview from just 2 weeks ago, talking about his new book.

Interesting interview, I would have enjoyed watching his forecasts.
