Tropical Storm Dean

Ok, all you Floridians and Gulf Coast weather geeks, time to get ready for Dean.... We all want to see some live feeds, live time updates here online ( as long as you have power), and anything else you can give us....

I see TS ERIN is already rockin n' rollin in the GOM with TS warnings already posted along the TX coast.  Good luck to all on the TX coast.  I know you all don't need any more rain down there.

At this point it looks like Dean won't be a threat to Florida.
The blues had a baby and they named it Rock & Roll

I wouldn't be so concerned if it were to track above Cuba (For my sake atleast  :lol: ) but all models have it moving due west towards the Gulf. From there it's anybodys ballgame.

This combined with a very localized cold slot of air from the arctic will cause the rain to change first to freezing rain and then snow.  Blizzard warnings for the Ocala area are expected as a result.


(Since my thunderstorm redirector and intensifier project was such a success with Ravenstar, I've decided to revive my arctic blast redirector and intensifier project.  I'll let you'all know when I'm ready to start taking orders for snow days.   :wink: )

It's looking like Texas and or Louisiana may be the final destination. But, the models keep changing so who knows.

Here's a radar from San Juan. Joe I tried to get one from Weather For You but it wouldn't come up :(
