WH1081 Cable Length
« on: November 21, 2012, 11:19:43 AM »
Hi, I'm from Argentina. In my country this Weather Station is called Sinometer WS-1081.

I live in a first floor and the building is eight floors high. I've to place the weather station at the roof of the building and the wireless signal doesn´t reach my floor. So I've been thinking on connecting the wind vane and anemometer (placed in the roof) with a cable 30 meters long (almost 100 feet) to the temperature/humidity sensor (placed at a window at my floor). Will the signal of the wind vane and anemometer reach the temperature/humidity sensor in well shape? Maybe they reach it not strong enough to be read properly (low voltage on the wind vane signal, or weak pulses for the anemometer)... Has anyone tested this with any station? What do you think?
