Nothing something strange???
« on: April 22, 2016, 04:39:32 PM »
I was looking at the BO strike maps and noticed something very strange. There were no strike lines being shown for North America. All strikes shown were being reported by BO stations in Europe. Somehow, that doesn't seem correct. I grabbed a screen capture of what I was seeing.

I just checked Lightningmaps.org and it seems to be OK, even on the "detailed" lines option.

Yes, it does look good now. Must have been just a transient condition with the servers but it was interesting to see only european stations detecting strikes in the US.
