Ambient Weather sells the WS-1550-IP which includes the following for $217 + shipping:
WS-2902 Sensor Array (Osprey)
ObserverIP
WH32B Thermo-Hydrometer-Barometer (added option)
WS-2000 Wireless Color MultiChannel Display (added option)

-in comparison-

The WS-2000 seems to be the same basic hardware except it omits the ObserverIP for $239 + shipping.

Why pay more and get less? Am I missing something here?

Yeah, Ambient Weather pricing doesn't make sense sometimes. Before this people were able to build a-la-carte for less than a complete WS-2000.

Definitely the price of the WS-2000 seems inflated just because it is a flagship product. It launched at a lower price and then the price jumped. Maybe it was because of supply and demand or maybe it was because of trade wars with China and import duty increases. But I'm not certain.
