Playing with a Panasonic PTZ cam and PHP, 12 image mosaic
« on: March 10, 2017, 04:19:00 PM »
This uses the same basic script as my banner/sig cam, twice. I have another PTZ cam set up in the woods. Right now, this is 2 different scripts (upper and lower panoramas) which I pasted together in Paint Shop Pro to check proof of concept and image alignment. If I go through with this, I'll have to edit the stitching routine to fix overlaps as best I can. Still there are going to be parallax artifacts in the lower panorama.

12 different images, > 180° (yes, that's opposite ends of the same porch), 1890 × 428 pixels. The base images are 320 x 240. The camera will do 640 x 480. Part of me says, go big or go home, but that's a lot of script editing and testing. :)
