Topic: WU station name: issues

Set up another pws at the campground.

I named my station and it shows correct in wu member settings. Then I click on it to bring up the dashboard and it has a completely different name showing.

Wanted to name this pws after the campground where it is installed, but It keeps showing a different name of the neighborhood near by.

WU has not responded to any of my emails other than the canned reply.

Yeah - this seems to be either a bug or feature of the new WU system.
I deleted and re-added my pws giving it the same name as previously - but on all pages it just appears to be named after my neighbourhood / suburb - which kind of makes the naming part of the pws addition page pointless.

Just curious, what's the station ID? What did you name it? What name is showing up on WU?

I like the new WU policy of reading and responding to the separate posts in the WU section of this forum. This will definitely be more helpful for everyone I think.

Just curious, what's the station ID? What did you name it? What name is showing up on WU?

ID KILLROCKF100  named it Black Valley Campground and shows Camp Grant. Doesn't matter what I name it in member settings it always shows Camp Grant.

Multiple threads makes  for an easier read and find for others by topic and keeps the boards more organized.. Otherwise your searching through a gazillion pages to see if the issue/topic you have is in a thread addressed already.

Guess it's my years of being a member of the site team (mod) at forestriverfourms (rv fourm) comming into play here
