Title: SkyWarn NCS class
Post by: N8BMB on July 17, 2014, 04:01:08 AM
For any Ham Radio Operators/Spotters in the Detroit, Michigan area.........

I will be conducting a "SkyWarn NCS Class" on February 21st, 2015 from 1 to 3pm.  However, anyone that would like to is invited to attend.  The class will run about an hour and a half and covers a few topics related to running a SkyWarn net, some history about the SkyWarn program and some "tools of the trade" (so to speak).

This will be the 3rd class I have given and have had pretty good turnout in the past.  The class is free and there is NO registration required, however, I do ask that you at least let me know if you will be attending so I have a rough idea on the size of the class.

Even if you have no inclination of being an NCS, this class is still a great idea for the spotter as it gives you a better idea of what your NCS is doing when they are not keyed up.

Hope to see you there!
