Meteobridge VP1?
« on: April 08, 2019, 07:59:11 PM »
Hello,

I recently upgraded from my still functioning Vantage Pro 1 Station to a VP2 which I purchased a Meteobridge NANO.  LOVE LOVE LOVE it.  Wanted to repurpose my VP1 to monitor the climate in our greenhouse.  My question is can I use meteobridge on the VP1 with a TP link router so I can remotely monitor and access?  Any help on what I would need to do this would be greatly appreciated.   Th aks in advance.

The LOOP command is different, but I would ask Boris (Docbee on this forum) to be certain.

Does VP 1 support WeatherLink IP or do I need a different logger?

WeatherLinkIPTM for Vantage Pro®  and Vantage Pro2™ consists of our WeatherLink software and a specialized data logger that connects to a Vantage Pro or Vantage Pro2 console or Weather Envoy to a ethernet
connection.
The weatherlink software is not needed when you use a Meteobridge.

You can use the Weatherlink IP logger in a VP1   says Davis.

That Weatherlink IP logger  you already have,  should be connected to your LAN same as it was in the past with the vp2.

The Meteobridge connects to that logger using your LAN or WiFi
