Sensor errors
« on: April 11, 2016, 11:37:00 AM »
My BloomSky camera gives out sensor errors once a week, so I have to reset it. Is this a normal thing?

Hi Ann-Marie,
I had seen the message about incorrect readings and to restart the device, but had ignored them and it didn't seem to have made a difference as all still worked ok up to when I checked last night.  Just now found that my device at home stopped at 4:07 this morning when the temp went from 2.12°C (which is about right) at 4:02 am to 21.11°C at 4:02 and 4:07.  I have now reset the device and will see what happens.

Also noticed that my second device which is at our daughter's in Milton is also not showing for a couple of days, and that could be out of power as that does not have the solar panel.  Yours is looking good, and showing current time.

I guess I'll have to keep an eye on it for that message.

Paul

I have had that happen a few times.  The first time I got that message I did restart the station, but haven't since and the messages went away after a few days.
