Beautiful October weather up here. Dry too. Thanks. Bangkok has the big problems right now and the rest of the country is feeling it too. Bangkok is a major source of many goods for the whole country like bottled water, gasoline and grocery products to name some. A lot of the stocked shelves in stores around us a clearing out. People around here are grabbing up what they think they may need in the next several weeks. News of gasoline rationing has been told but that hasn't started yet. The flooding is expected to peak by this weekend to coincide with the gulf's high tide just below them. Many evacuations all around there. We have friends down there who are flying up here because they cannot get food, water, etc. The U.S. had ships with supplies docked nearby and ready to provide aid, just waiting for the word from the Thai government. That never happened for whatever reason so the ships just left. Didn't get any straight facts from the news with what happened there.
