FWIW, I'm not seeing the problems you guys are showing when looking at my site under Safari/iOS 7.0.2/iPhone 5s. Also, I am not seeing the problem on Scott's site. Everything is as it should be.

Give it enough AJAX refreshes (usually within 10).. Here's yours... You'll see it eventually.  FWIW -- it happens on the iOS Simulator within the Apple iOS 7 SDK as well.

Reset maxupdates from 100 (default) to 0 (unlimited - now reset back to 100). Let Safari pound at my site for over an hour. Not one single failure anywhere.

Sorry, but my take would lean more towards an incompatible app that might be running in the background, or possibly a setting - for me, it woiks just fine!

As you see, below is another shot of your site -- this time from Apple's iOS simulator, simulating a 4" iPhone running 7.0 in a factory condition.. As you can see, it happens there too. 

Again - I believe this to be an Apple issue within Safari on iOS 7 -- NOT a problem with the scripts.

Ok all, I'm probably asking in the wrong section, but since my alt-dashboard can't seem to get the FWI icons to show up;
I have noticed some that have new FWI/CBI icons. I have searched over and over and can't find them. 
Does someone have a clue of where they are located or can post them so I can update my icons?

Very strange. The tech support people at Apple could see it. When they switched to the previous version and viewed my site it was fine.

No idea what to tell you, Joe. Did what I said on all 3 sites and no errors were seen. Makes no sense...

Strange indeed. Just to be clear, the erroneous values show up for 3-5 AJAX updates and then revert. So you only see them for about 15-20 seconds until the normal values return. They don't stay that way the entire time. Just randomly appear for a few seconds and disappear before reappearing again for a couple of refreshes.

Understood. I did keep a close eye on he screen for the initial time period, and then just stretched it out (still watching) to see if anything happened later. All clean - but definitely not clear! Don't see how I could have missed it on all 3 sites.

I took the liberty of making a YouTube video of the behavior using the iOS Simulator, switching between iOS 6.1 and iOS 7.  I'm on iOS 7.0.2 on my phone and iPad, and it still occurs on that version.. The simulator is running 7.0.

I see the behavior you're concerned about, Rick.  The outrageous values are ajax updated via ajaxWDwx3.js, and it might be this JavaScript bit that iOS7 is choking on for some reason.  Since it is only seen with this OS version it has to be a bug in the OS, OR LESS LIKELY it could unmask a bug in the ajax JavaScript.  If it were the latter case things should break in a similar fashion with other browsers on other OS's.

I can't reproduce it here in Win7 on Chrome, FF, IE, or Safari while viewing Scott's, John's and my sites (which are all running the same code base).  A JavaScript console probably wouldn't help since JS keeps right on chugging away and apparently throws no errors.

I suspect this one is for Apple to fix.

Rick, thanks for sharing.... Now, what do you think our chances are of Apple doing something about it?  When I talked to them, they said it was not their problem, even after verifying that it was happening on iOS7 and no other version.

First - I did not disbelieve what you guys were saying, but simply that I could not see it here. Unfortunately I wouldn't put much hope in Apple doing anything about it - they'll likely blame the 'third-party app' regardless.

Jerry brings up another interesting left-field possibility. Just for grins, I'm running v3.04 dated 15-SEP-2013. Just curious.

I also see no issues with my Motorola Razr MAXX HD smart phone using Droid version 4.1.2 with Chrome.  So it must be an Apple OS version issue....

Finally got my dashboard up and running. Found a new version of the ajaxWDwx.js script. The version is 3.02 dated 07-APR-2013.

UPDATE:  Beta 1 failed internationally with the date.  I believe I have figured out the problem and Beta 2 is now out to the international beta testers I have.  I should know tomorrow (Wednesday October 23rd) if it works for all!  


At the risk of starting something again....  

My new beta of version 6.90 hopefully now handles the dates that are stored to testtags.php in your native language and should now display correctly in the format you choose on my alternative dashboard.  I have sent several copies to those who were testing it already and hopefully they will confirm it works internationally!  If so, I will hopefully post it soon.  I've also added by request the option to show the date in 12-25-2013 and 25-12-2013 formats.

The new update will translate month names in the following languages:

English, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, German (Swiss), Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Spanish, Swedish

Its setup so you could add more languages to the script easily but it's done in the main script not the config do to some issues with how strings are passed to functions.  If I missed a language you think needs to be there please tell me and send me the three character names for each month and I'll add it.

Version 6.90 is now working and will be released this weekend.  At that time I will stop supporting the older versions.  Watch for an announcement Saturday or Sunday.
