Topic: Anemometer results in heavy rain?

We had some pretty heavy TS these last few days with some strong winds. It seem to me that the Vantage PRO2's anemometer is effected by the rain. During these TS rain was going sideway. The readings on the console were very low at that time. Has anyone elso observerd poor performance of the anemometer during heavy rain?
