Granted- Easter is early and we are at 45 deg N.

I got over an inch last night.  7 for the week.

The kids were dressed up.
It feels more like Christmas

We had flurries on and off. Hi temp was 36. Think I read somewhere that Easter won't be this early again for something like 200 years?

Thanks,

That's what we need northern states for... to keep the snow up that way!

NCPilot-
Thanks for the photos. We are headed down to NC in a week or so to travel around the State with the motorhome (assuming the snow drift in front of the door of our barn is melted by then). Great to see the flowers blooming. Nice contrast to the the ice and fresh snow out my window.

Exactly! I don't know about Tawas this year, Lew, but here in Genesee county we've received 80 inches of snow this winter so far. The normal is 44 inches. Last year we received 36. We're supposed to get 1-3 inches tomorrow. We also continue to run about 8 to 12 degrees below normal. Enough winter!

Kevin...

p.s.  Where's that global "warming"? My skin is turning blue.

We had a snow shower move through this morning that whitened the grassy areas.  I recall back in the 80's it snowed the day before Easter one year.  I remember it because the weather had been real nice and I planted cabbage outside early.  That was the first and the last year I tried early plantings.   #-o  I wait until at least May anymore.
