Title: Did Weather Exchange finally die?

Ambient has shown it discontinued for years, but you could still download and install it fine and it would work.  Recently, it seems to have gone blank for some reason.  All stations still appear in the menus, but none of them pull data.

I don't even know where it was fed from ...  probably WU.  Would be nice to find a way to get it working again if possible.

Yep. For over a month now. I really miss it. Ed at Ambient says it's probably gone for good.
