Good afternoon weatherfriends,
Here in Greece its Easter so we grill lamp and have lot of fun n music.
Anyway the questions never end so i would like to ask if Boltek software support Vista?
Nextorm support Vista and thats good news.
But im thinking buy a Boltek Ld250 connect it to a laptop which of course will work under Vista....
So could i buy or wait to update the Boltek software?
And a small question too.
Boltek and Nextorm software updates make the accurancy better?I hear many opinions so i want to know if there are improvements to accurancy....
Best wishes and Peach to all ..... :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Welcome to the forum,
If you have a desktop I reccomend buying the pci version; costs less and supports strike discrimination.
The hardware and software is fully compatible w/ Pista. NexstormLite comes w/ Boltek. You'll have to purchase an upgrade to post strike data on the internet.
I use the LD-250. If you buy the LD-250, I really reccomend looking at Lightning 2000 software. Actually, Nexstorm for mid-long range and L2K for close-mid range. L2K is really great at close range 0-150mi.
Another thing to consider is Boltek is working on an LD-350 which uses strike discrimination. You'll have to contact them for info.

Im afraid i have to buy Ld250 and not the Pcl card cuz i will use a new laptop.Thank you for information. Can i use both Softwares Lightning 2000 and Nextorm?  :eek:one for short range and one for longrange distance?
I care more for short distances activity....
Ld 350?ouaww I hope i will get news soon about it even i dnt care for discrimination so much.
Have a good day....

You can't use the diff software together, unless someone has tried using VirtualVP w/ these.
You're like me, didn't want a desktop. Then definitely look into L2K, for close strike.
