You can see my conditions below, I hit 107.6 a few minutes ago... Heat Index. It's certainly not Oklahoma here!  :-)

I do have to preface mine though with that little microclimate thing.  The official readings, out in a big open field at the Tulsa Intenational Airport, as of 11:53 CT are as follows:

Partly Cloudy
95 °F
(35 °C)
Humidity:   40 %
Wind Speed:   S 13 G 20 MPH
Barometer:   29.89" (1011.1 mb)
Dewpoint:   67 °F (19 °C)
Heat Index:   99 °F (37 °C)

Most recent condition you can find on Weather Underground if you click on the banner, as I use RapidFire (well, every minute anyway)

It was "only" supposed to hit 93 today.

Its 94 "out in a big open field at the" Buttonville (not internationalal) Airport a few miles to my west.
Its 98 in my VP2 out back.  So close to the century mark.....

Relief is coming!!!

Wind picked up today and slowly changing directions,  barometer is falling and there is a cold front on the Dakotas-Minnesota border. Some heat warnings have been dropped in SD.

What surprises me is the lack of storms.  But it can still happen.

Heat index for temp ranging from 80oF to 110oF and relative humidity ranging from 40 to 80%. The contour lines represent heat index values of 85, 90, 100, 125, 150, 175, and 200oF.

Our numbers here today, in prep for hotter day tomorrow, were: (My Station)
      High Temp: 96*F
      High DP:  77*F
      High Heat Index:  110*F
Scattered clouds kept things tolerable.  Solar Rad hit 1246 W/m3 around Noon. Tomorrow is forecasted to be 102*F.  Heat Index...I will wait and see. 8-) ;)

Wake up temp of 27C (80.6) (36C (98.6F) humidex).  have to check the logs, but I think that's a new record high low for me.  it was a new warmestnightonrecord for my vp2, but its only on its second summer.

Yesterday was new record high at 37.4 (99.32, so close)

Hope to break a hundred today.  But its supposed to be windy with a bit more cloud cover, wind might bring some cooler lake effect air up my way.  But both official sources are 37 and 38 respectively, so we'll see.

The other day I mentioned how bad it must be for the firefighters on these hot days. Well, now in Toledo there is someone setting fires in abandoned houses and some are beleived to be set in order to harm firefighters.  There have been 2 this morning and there were 2 and possibly a third yesterday.  While most are happening in the early morning when it's not at the hottest, the lows are only 79*F with DP in the mid 70's.
What is the matter with some people?  :-x :-x

ADDED:  This pic was on front page of todays paper.

It is expected to be a hot one today, they're saying possible hotest ever recorded in Ontario http://ca.news.yahoo.com/ontario-power-grid-ready-record-heat-113811257.html.  Yesterday our local municipality posted that the scheduled garbage/recyling collection for Thursday (today) is cancelled because of the expected heat and rescheduled for Saturday collection.  But so far at noon I am only showing 32.3C.

As I expected the cloud cover is preventing a bit of daytime heating.  Still hot outside right now of course.
The changed the humidex advisory to a "Weather Warning" so that more people saw it.   Dont know too many people that have not been aware it was going to scorch today in Southern Ontario.

My site is showing the "heat danger" for the first time I can recall.

Hope the sun comes back out fully, would like to hit 50C humidex, even if only for a few minutes. Upper 40's is extremely high, but 50 would almost be hard to comprehend.

But its "only" 49.12C (rounding up).  Oh well.  Got the screen cap, no one else is going to do the math.

Kevin,
I knew you would, you were nice enough earlier to quote your numbers in both C and Humidex.

Official official.
50.75C Humidex right now.   \:D/
37.8C with 51% humidity.

OK it can cool now, I have to walk to the train station.

Nice!

I was just at the store. The clerk asked the guy in front of me, "How are you today?" He replied, "Hot!" and paused as though she were supposed to laugh. Yeah, it's 4:00pm, and I'll bet that's the first time she's heard that today. So when my turn she asked, "How are you today?" I replied, "Cold!" (which got a rise out of her). In the corner of my eye I could see the guy who had been in front of me do a 180 to look at me.
