Report with daily highs, lows, rainfall, etc
« on: August 01, 2016, 11:37:09 AM »
My apologies if this information is already on the site - I'm pretty new to all of this.  The Davis software gives a nice monthly report with daily highs, lows, etc.  I would like a similar report for every day of the year.  Exported data gives information for every 30 minutes.  How can I sort this data to show the highs, lows, etc for each day of the year?  I'm thinking I would do this in Excel or similar software.

Thanks PaulMy.  Yes, the first link in particular is nice.  How did you set that up?

It is part of the Saratoga template scripts http://saratoga-weather.org/scripts-NOAAtxt.php#NOAAtxtPHP with my Cumulus data.  I believe it will also work with WeatherLink data http://saratoga-weather.org/wxtemplates/index.php.  The experts on this are monitoring this forum ;)

Enjoy
Paul

Update:  I figured out how to download the data into an Excel spreadsheet.  From there, I used a Pivot Table and sorted by daily high, daily low and daily rainfall.  I'll update the spreadsheet on a monthly basis going forward.  I had to learn how to work with a Pivot Table but it was not too difficult.
