Foscam camera help
« on: June 30, 2018, 11:35:39 AM »
I have been given 3 Foscam FI9821W V2.1 cameras.

I have the Foscam software VMS V_1.4.14 and android app. The cameras are connected and can be see IN NETWORK.

But when I am off my network-I cannot see anything and have no access. Unless I do teamviewer to my server.

I would like to get it to a website-Apache if needed. It's been a while but I can do it. (ugh)
Port forwarding with xfinity internet.

Anyone have any suggestions or knowledge with Foscam? Thanks for anything you can give me.

yeah.. I can help you.

you have to load some plug ins and drives into your browser/computer.   Then you can access the camera. Each camera has an IP address and port -assigned by your router/modem.    Then you can set up each camera.

For you, I have such a deal :   https://www.foscam.com/downloads/app_software.html
https://www.foscam.com/downloads/user_mannual.html

And yes it is hot, humid and So Iowa in the Summer.

all my cameras are Foscam,  and yes they do work, but you have to install them, just because you can see them, doesn't do diddly.
