Easiest way to stream an ip cam from a weather
« on: July 27, 2017, 01:30:38 AM »
Hello, trying to run 3 weather stations around my community and then run ip cam's from each one. Is there a good way to get temp and other data integrated on the cam output?  Don't want to have a computer At each location, just a internet connection.

I don't know of a camera that supports that natively.

Any IP cam with builtin server can ftp images with internet connection.  I do this directly with this camera, if you click on image this . https://www.wunderground.com/personal-weather-station/dashboard?ID=KNEVALEN3

But he wants the temp and other data overlaid on the stream.

But he wants the temp and other data overlaid on the stream.

I saw that but being no specifics and limited information about the 3 weather stations wanting to or running I just added what I knew could work with cameras and no computers.

Stardot cameras can do this but with cheap toy weather station I could never recommend and doubt anyone would be interested same goes for BloomSky.
I really can't think of any easy way of getting quality weather information overlaid on image without some kind of computer software help.

Stardot cameras can do this ...

Oh yea, but then the camera would most likely cost more than the weather stations
